ln this work proposes a technology for melting refractory alloys , it was established that heating before loading the charge into the furnace reduces the content of gas ( particularly hydrogen ) in the final alloy . A design of the mold , providing the production of ingots without significant shrinkage defects . It has been established that a high degree of refining of the molten metal during deoxidation with carbon provides a substantial reduction of oxygen and nonmetallic inclusions in the melt and improve the absorption of yttrium is about 2 times , which gives a considerable economic benefit.
Keywords: vacuum induction furnace (VIF), high temperature alloy, deoxidation, nickel, cobalt.

Old class of light-weight casting alloys of the system Al-Mg-Si-Mn recently has been returned to the foundry practice for producing of car parts via high pressure die casting. In as-cast state alloy with nominal composition AlMg7Si3Mn contains three phases: ?-Al solid solution, (Al)+(Mg2Si) eutectic and Mg2Si primary crystals. By metallographic examinations it was established that during solution treatment (Al)+(Mg2Si) eutectic tends to spheroidisation. Using shape instability model it has been calculated that complete spheroidisation take place after 60 minutes soaking. Modeled results were confirmed experimentally

In work the analysis of induction channel equipment specific of exploitation for aluminium alloys is performed and the basic aspects related to limitation of exploitation term and violation of the operations modes of such equipment are selected, in particular overgrowing of channels. The analysis of methods and devices of control and diagnostics of work of the ICF and Wshaped channel of MDU showed that for the terms of foundry the contactless methods of control, based on measuring, registration and determination of 3D distributing of the magnetic fields dispersion, which are inducting by the electrical currents in induction channel, are most acceptable. In work a method and device is resulted for 3D determination of magnetic field induction distributing, allowing to produce to the diagnostician overgrowing of channel by not nonconductive products by research of distributing of the magnetic fields of dispersion

The process of obtaining products sandy 3D deformation combines known techniques of molding sand under computer control. Application in the sand molding physicochemical phenomena associated with cryotechnology, the vibro-sand mixture and inorganic materials with the possibility of re-use leads to cost savings. These processes extend the capabilities of molding, especially in view of environmental safety casting.

Die casting is a progressive method of billets production with a significant drawback, however, being the complexity and high cost of manufacturing shape-generating tools. Various alloys and methods of obtaining molding inserts have been studied. Complex alloyed tool steel 40X5MC was selected as the optimal material for molding inserts to cast high-temperature alloys on copper (brass -59). The technology of casting to ceramic chill through ceramic reinforced cores with forced cooling and degassing of the working cavity was suggested, when carrying out comparative evaluation of the manufacturing methods. The investigations and performance tests of molding inserts manufactured according to the suggested technology have proved its economic expediency
Keywords: molding inserts, ceramic chill, tool steel.

It is presented the further development of works for obtaining of new high-strength aluminium casting alloys of VAL10 type which ones do not contain harmful (cadmium) and highpriced (silver) components. As basic alloying components there are offered tin (it provides strengthening of alloy) and zirconium (its intermetallides are the effective modifiers of the cast structure). Preparation and processing of lines of experimental alloys were realized with using of electromagnetic actions. As result, main mechanical properties of experimental alloys (without cadmium and silver and alloyed by zirconium and tin) are comparable with properties of the standard high-strength aluminium casting alloy AM4.5Kd (VAL10) by GOST 1583-93.
